This bursary is sponsored by the Smithers Pride Society and the Smithers United Church, and intended to provide financial help for post-secondary pursuits for individuals who have been active in 2SLGBTQ+ rights.

CRITERIA

Any graduating student at SSS who:

1. Has demonstrated consistent, active involvement in promoting diversity and 2SLGBTQ+ visibility, safety and respect in the school and community (this could include involvement in the GSA).
2. Has been a volunteer at Smithers Pride events.
