Smithers Pride Society is gearing up for its 5th Annual Smithers Pride Event. On Saturday, June 4th, 2022, folks from Northern BC and afar will gather to celebrate diversity and inclusion. The Smithers Pride Society's purposes are to initiate, create, sponsor and develop educational and cultural activities and events, on a non-profit and charitable basis; to promote the development, visibility, and pride in the 2SLGBTQ+ communities.

Due to the global pandemic in 2020 Smithers Pride was able to move online. Thanks to this we were able to host our Annual pride albeit in a less conventional way.

May 2019 we expanded on Pride 2018 from just one small section of street to the whole block on Main Street, as well as, the side street we occupied the previous year.
